Cody Rhodes is still the Undisputed WWE Champion after Kevin Owens hesitated to attack The American Nightmare’s injured left knee.

What started as a friendly competition slowly devolved into a heated back and forth between champion and challenger, all while the raucous German crowd cheered their every move.

Owens targeted Rhodes’ midsection, and his consistent attacks led to significant problems for the champion, including his ability to hit a Cody Cutter and a Disaster Kick at full power.

The challenger’s assault on the champion’s chest continued with a hellacious rolling senton from the second rope, leaving The American Nightmare gasping for air and barely kicking out.

Rhodes summoned enough strength to land a Cross Rhodes as Owens hit a modified fisherman suplex just a few moments later, but neither move was enough for either Superstar to score the win.

The American Nightmare jumped to the top rope for a diving crossbody, but his knee buckled. Owens considered booting Rhodes in the back of the knee, but he refused to pull the trigger at the last second.

KO later had a chance to go for his savage Apron Powerbomb when the fight spilled to ringside, but he decided against using that move as well.

Two Stunners weren’t enough to put away Rhodes, who turned the tide by lifting his knees to counter Owens’ swanton bomb attempt. Moments later, the champion hit one final Cross Rhodes to retain his title.

Owens refused to let Rhodes help him back to his feet after the match, though after collecting himself, he raised the champion’s arm to the delight of the WWE Universe.

With a slowed pace, Fyre and Dawn used Belair’s braid against her and kept her pinned down on the mat, leaving Cargill on the apron with no options.

The EST finally tagged in her partner, and Cargill cleaned house, taking out The Unholy Union with thunderous clotheslines and incredible fall-away slams.

CM Punk def. Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre look to inflict as much damage as possible in a brutal Strap Match. Catch WWE action on Peaco*ck, WWE Network, FOX, USA Network, Sony India and more. #WWEBash

CM Punk vanquished Drew McIntyre in epic fashion during their brutal and personal Strap Match.

McIntyre attacked Punk before the bell and brutalized him with his power, mocking his rival as he slapped the turnbuckles, which needed to be hit in succession for a competitor to win.

In a surge of adrenaline, Punk hit a GTS and flipped the script, leading to a fight on the outside between the two Superstars.

It soon became a war of attrition as Punk tried and failed to hit the turnbuckles, with The Scottish Warrior soon launching him over the top rope and through a table on the outside of the ring.

McIntyre picked up Punk and carried him to the corners, but The Second City Saint wisely slapped each turnbuckle, unbeknownst to his opponent, to nearly steal the victory.

Punk locked in a Sharpshooter and even made McIntyre tap out, but it did not matter in Strap Match rules.

After regaining control, McIntyre pulled out Punk’s family bracelet and hit a Claymore, but he was caught with another GTS while he tried to win the match.

Punk hit the GTS three times in a row while touching the turnbuckles and defiantly ripped his bracelet from McIntyre’s arm before slapping the fourth turnbuckle to win the match, his first victory in WWE in more than 11 years.

Mysterio scrambled to his corner and tagged in Liv Morgan, but Rhea Ripley quickly entered the fray and dropkicked her longtime rival.

Morgan distracted Priest, which allowed Mysterio to knock him into the announce table and the steel steps to gain control for his team.

After another cheap shot from the Women’s World Champion, Priest tagged in Ripley, who quickly regained the momentum for her team.

The Terror Twins started flexing their muscles and turned their attention to the rest of The Judgment Day, as Priest wiped out Carlito, JD McDonagh and Finn Bàlor.

Morgan was left alone in the ring as Ripley hit a ring-shaking Riptide to earn the win for herself and her Terror Twin.

The deafening Berlin crowd was treated to an instant classic as Gunther retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton.

Vintage Orton made his way to Germany as he systematically attacked The Ring General by tossing him shoulder-first into the steel steps and dumping him on the announce table several times.

Gunther powered through the pain, but his clubbing, power-based offense wasn’t as effective, which allowed Orton to stay in the fight longer.

Orton hit a devastating superplex, but the champion continued to battle by throwing chops and punches with his injured hand.

The Viper went for the RKO, but he was countered, and Gunther landed a German suplex, a T-Rex dropkick and a huge diving splash from the top rope.

The Ring General attempted to lift Orton for a Powerbomb, but Orton countered into an RKO out of nowhere for a long two-count.

Orton followed by smashing Gunther through the announce table and positioning him for an RKO, only for the champion to counter him and lock in a Sleeper.

The challenger fought valiantly to escape the submission, but Gunther remarkably held on despite his upper body injuries and put Orton to sleep, retaining his title in incredible fashion.

In a rarely seen move from The Ring General, Gunther offered a post-match handshake to Orton, who accepted the gesture.
